How do I get to ETC?

Is each attendee responsible for their travel arrangements and expenses?
Yes. Each attendee will make [and pay for] their travel arrangements. All necessary information required is listed on the Orange Flag 2010 website (www.etcorangeflag.com). If you have additional questions about travel please contact Kathy Mahon (E-mail: Kathy@jetsettravels.com; cell phone # 215-272-6921). If you desire, Kathy (Jet Set Travel) can make hotel reservations for you. Please let her know you're attending Orange Flag.

Will shuttle service be available?
Yes, ETC will provide daily shuttle service from your hotel to the NASTAR Center.
Airport transfer to your hotel can be arranged. Please contact Glenn King, 215-439-6797 to schedule your transfer to and from your hotel.

Where do I park my car?
If driving to the NASTAR Center, Please follow the driveway to the rear most parking lot and park in the 'visitor parking' right outside the NASTAR Center entrance.

How do I get into the building and where do I go?
ETC and the NASTAR Cener is a secured access facility. Please bring identification documents with you [Military ID or Passport or Drivers License] and sign in with the receptionist. Upon sign-in, all Visitors will be provided a Visitor Badge. Follow the signs to the Russell Conference room for the briefing.

Requirements to fly the ATFS-400?
All flight experience information requested in the application form must be completed.
Proof of Medical Clearance (current Military flying status or FAA Class III Medical, or equal, is required)
NASTAR Center Waiver of Liability form must be completed upon arrival.

Will pilots need their flight gear?
We suggest that Pilots bring their flight suits and boots. We have an assortment of sizes of Helmets, Anti-G suits and harnesses available.

Will there be a changing room to don flight gear?
Yes, we have separate changing rooms for Male and Female Pilots.

Will there be a secure, locked area for valuables?
Yes, there will be an area to store your valuables.

Will there be a briefing / debriefing room?
Yes, all pilots will be given aircraft familiarization, safety, preflight and post flight briefings.

Will there be a staging [observer] area?
Yes. We have a staging [observer] area with closed circuit TV to observe the engagements. If you wish, a free DVR of your flight will be provided.

Will meals be provided?
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided daily at the NASTAR Center. Dinners are at the discretion of each participant.
Special dietary arrangements will be honored. Please inform the staff at the time of registration of your unique requirements.
A Welcome Dinner is provided on Tuesday, October 19th.

Will I be allowed to take photographs?
Yes. Photographs are allowed and encouraged. There are designated areas in the NASTAR Center where no photographs are allowed. You will be informed of those areas during your briefings.

Is my spouse allowed to come to Orange Flag and observe?
Yes, spouses are welcome. We have a separate observation room for spouses. Also, a 'Spouse Day Tour' can be arranged for sightseeing in the local area.
