ORANGE FLAG 2009

The NASTARSM Center and ETC will once again host an Orange Flag Event, for military pilots from the U.S. and around the world; two or three-days of competitive, simulated air-to-air tactical engagements for fighter and fast jet pilots that pits the ATFS-400™ "Phoenix" - a flyable sustained G simulator with F-15 or F/A-18 cockpits against a comparable Su-30 Operational Flight Simulator (OFS-400).

Pilots will fly in Blue Force or Red Force squadrons in 1v1 or multiple tactical engagements, with or without the assistance of AWACS. You´ll fly your aircraft right to the edge of the envelope, pulling up to, and if able, sustaining 9G´s

Orange Flag provides experienced tactical pilots and senior government officials the opportunity to fly, experience, and evaluate the ATFS-400™ "Phoenix" technology in objective "free-play" simulated combat engagements. Experienced tactical pilots who participate in Orange Flag '09 will have the opportunity to fly the ATFS-400™ "Phoenix" and the OFS-400 (with a Su-30 cockpit), and evaluate other flight simulation equipment and training programs.
